We´re always happy to promote up and coming producers, especially if they´re Swedish and extremly good, like the the guys in todays post. Team Skidoo (Ben Morris, Prins Glaeser and Leolyxx) is a Stockholm based DJ/production crew and when I heard their stuff I knew I had to write about ´em, right away. All the major companies are releasing tons and tons of rubbish these days, this is the music they should be putting out instead. Have a listen and you´ll know what I mean. Of course DJ:ing and producing is not the only thing these guys do ( skilled artists tend to have a million things going on at the same time, right?), they´ve also been running the wicked club Camino Del Sol, at Landet here in Stockholm, and with guests like Mapei (another excellent Swedish artist), Ruff Squad and Salem Al - Fakir it´s been one of the hottest alternatives to downtown clubbing this year. This summer Team Skidoo have a residency at Trädgården (Stockholm) and you should definitely go there on the last of June when they´re on next, satisfaction guaranteed. Also be wise to check their remixes out, the biggest one (this far, one should say) being last years ace remix of the Peter, Bjorn and John track Young Folks, that was released alongside remixes from Beyond The Wizards Sleeve and others. The first track of the day, World Records And Tapes, is an extremly rough number, armed with a bass line that could destroy cities, that´s so tight I could stay awake for weeks wondering why it´s still unreleased. As a bonus you get the solo joint Hold U Tight from one of the members (Ben Morris). Unreleased as well and sweet as honey, a track bound to be a summer hit around here. This shit is so good even your boss will like it.

These tracks are exclusive and can´t be bought but show the guys some love at Myspace instead, they deserve it.
