Syncom Data are Holland's Jan Katsma & Raoul de Vries. They started out with a couple of releases on Bunker Records before creating their own label SD Records back in 2005, releasing the Horse EP. The Beyond The Stars EP followed in January this year and a remix package has recently emerged featuring the talents of Speedy J, Legowelt and Syncom Data themselves. Each mix is different but equally good and it was hard to choose which to post - luckily though, all 3 are available for you to listen to on their Myspace page. Speedy J returns to the Techno scene with an epic dubbed out mix which keeps on building; a very dark and mesmerising track. The SD Mix also keeps things deep but has a more Electro feel to it. Legowelt bucks the deep and dubby trend to bring us a no nosense slice of bangning techno. He takes the synth sections from the original and adds some well programmed drum loops, before dropping a thundering kick drum midway through. Awesome stuff!
