It's been two years since the last release on Luke Eargoggle's Gothenburg based Stilleben Records. This month sees the release of a new LP from Komarken entitled Electronic Research Center. Details are few and far between and it's not known if they are a new artist or an alias of somebody else. It really doesn't matter when the music is this good though. The LP contains nine tracks of straight up all killer - no filler Electro; precision programmed beats, funk filled basslines and lush synthesizer melodies. Some of it is cold and dark, some of it warm and beautiful; all of it is excellent. With track titles like Who Are They, The New World and Science Can't Save You, you know to expect only the finest robotic grooves and the sounds of deep space.
