I should have posted this last week but I've been busy, lazy and feeling a bit under the weather, so excuse the lateness. On to the music then, we have the new release from Syncom Data records, 5 tracks of quality electro on the Duracel - Hole In Head EP. The title track is a vocal track with a mixture of 80s synth-pop and italo influences to it. That Rope is a dark and slow groover, asking "what are you doing with that rope in your mouth?". Snipe hits you with its old school beats, funky bass and a healthy slice of 303 lines. Low Ride is more melodic, with lots of pads and synth hooks over the classic 909 beats and a chugging bassline. Closing track Don't ups the tempo with some distorted bass stabs and an 808 workout.
