Zambon of Kukabara Soundsystem sent us this rework of Slave To Love by Bryan Ferry. It's not the first time we post an edit here but the first time we post a Bryan Ferry track.I do like Bryan and Roxy Music of course and think this rework is really good so I did not hestitate when Zambon asked if we wanted to post it here. Back in full effect. As promised earlier here's another recording from our This Is Modern Disco club night we host together with our lovely friends in Rimini, here in Stockholm. We recorded Prins Thomas at our This Is Modern Disco Weekender on the 21st of march this year. This set is over three hours and as always when it comes to Thomas sets, a future classic.

Just a small note to all you people who are visiting Stockholm this Friday or who might have a extra plane ticket and don't have anything planned. This friday we're doing our party This Is Modern Disco for the last time this year at Tranan.

Together with Rimini we've invited Juswax owner and dj Mark Seven. You could say we've been waiting for this night, it's the only dj-gig Mark is doing in Sweden 2009. We're honoured to have him at Tranan once again, last time he played was exactly one year ago. It's free entrance and we start the music at 18.00, don't be late.

Jonathan Anderzon aka DJ JayStarSeven sent me this great mix called "Some Kinda House Mix". Now, I hope I'm not giving away too much information when I say the title is 100% true. What I really like about this mix is how it shows Jonathan's skills when it comes to track selection, keeping a live feel and never lose the groove. Mikkel Haraldstad is back with new music produced under the moniker Solli Diskoklubb. He kindly offered us his latest track Munich Hideaway,best described as atmospheric and groovy, just the way we want it. A while back when we posted a couple of other tracks by Solli Diskoklubb I mentioned a vinyl release. The track "Fest i bakgården" got released on Untz Untz vol.1 released by Untz Untz Records. Also on that same record is another friend of 24:hours, Henning Severud aka Telephones. Actually we posted his track DIG! way, way back so if you missed that chance you should grab the vinyl release before it's too late. If you already got that track, get yourself the vinyl anyway. Rune Lindbæk sent me a new mix, a tribute to the club Nomaden. Rune's been hosting his Undertonar nights at Nomaden and played once a month for five years now. According to Rune Nomaden is the best club in the world. Now, I haven't been there myself but heard many great stories and people seem to enjoy this club a lot so I guess the only thing to do is to visit it very soon.

Yam Who?, Faze Action, My Tiger My Timing, Max Essa, Pocketknife and Ilija Rudman have spent the last few months recreating several of Arthur Russell's songs and the result is of course ace. Big up to Electric Minds for this release.

Speaking about Kool DJ Dust, we just received a mix from Name In Lights, the guys behind the swedish label Feed. Their second release is a four track 12" called Ancient Astronauts and the producer behind it is...yes, Kool Dj Dust. If you liked the first release, Marathon/Autonight by Erik Wikström then you don't want to miss out on this one.

We've played the Name In Lights remix of Ancient Astronauts a couple of times in our djsets and it goes down really well every time. If this label continue to deliver releases like this it's a strong contender for label of the year for me. Be sure to grab a copy of this release when it's out, should be any day now.

It's been a while since we posted something from Kool DJ Dust , aka the swedish discoskweehiphopelectrocosmic dj & producer Daniel Savio. Last time we posted some tracks from his Disco Opera album and following on that same vibe he's delivering 53 minutes and 53 seconds of pure disco delight. Some great stuff included in the mix from Mr Dust. First one who mails me a correct tracklist wins a Disco Opera album, that's a promise.
